WWU Tutoring Center
Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center services in-person and virtually to support students primarily enrolled in math and science GURs. The Tutoring Center is also available to support study skills (e.g. test taking, note taking, time management).
Hacherl Research & Writing Studio
The Hacherl Research & Writing Studio is available in-person and online to support students at any point during the research and writing process. This includes preparing for class presentations, brainstorming research paper topics, receiving feedback on drafts, and more! The Studio also provides access to a collection of tutorials related to research and writing.
Studio Partners & Western Libraries Practicum
nterested in setting up a regular one-on-one meeting with a tutor in order to support your research and writing success? Consider signing up for a Studio Partner who can meet with you each week to discuss upcoming research and writing assignments and strategies. There is also a credit version, LIBR 341: Academic Literacies Practicum, available to those interested in earning credit while meeting once a week with a tutor to advance their research-writing assignments and skills. Feel free to email Elizabeth Stephan for an override or more information regarding the course.
