Program Options

The Early Childhood Education Program offers two options to students. Both options are for candidates seeking a profession in early childhood education and specialization in working with young children and their families. Individuals will be prepared to teach children in diverse and inclusive environments such as birth to age three programs, preschools, elementary schools, and home or community settings.

Early Childhood Education Programs

Early Childhood Education P-3, BAE

The program in early childhood education consists of an academic major in Early Childhood Education and a sequence of professional certification courses that lead to teacher licensure Pre-K through third grade.

The program in early childhood education consists of an academic major in Early Childhood Education and a sequence of professional courses. This program is for candidates who are not seeking certification to work in the public schools.
