Korrine oversees student teaching placements for the King County area. She works directly with candidates and school and district personnel and presents the student teaching workshops held in King and Snohomish counties.
Education: AA in Early Childhood Education from Manchester University, BS and and MS in Special Education: Mild Mental Intervention, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional Disabilities from University of St. Francis and Ed.D. in Special Education: Mild Disabilities and Early Childhood Education from Ball State University
Professional: Taught in Indiana public schools in special education from 1986-1999, Assistant Professor and Director of Teacher Education at Manchester University from 1999-2011
Personal: Married to Jeff Gust, Chief Corporate Metrologist at Fluke Corp. Have 4 children, Kirsten (Seth) Jines who teaches first grade in Fort Wayne, IN; Matthew Schneider who works at a diner in Fort Wayne, IN; Celia Gust who is a sophomore at Lake Stevens High School; Isaac Gust who is 7th grader and loves to wrestle for Lake Stevens.
Interests: I love to travel with my family, enjoy Bible study and am learning to play piano.
