Program-Aligned Majors
Prospective Students
The undergraduate Elementary Professional Program leads to teacher certification. Students who pursue this program must complete an acceptable major. With the exception of the Literacy, Language, and Cultural Studies major, students may begin taking major coursework prior to admittance to the Elementary Professional Program.
Post-baccalaureate applicants are not required to complete a new major but must request a review of their transcripts to determine if previous course work is program aligned. Email unofficial transcripts to TeacherEd.Admission@wwu.edu.
Program-aligned majors are below. Additional majors may be possible under advisement through the Elementary Department Manager, Miller Hall 300.
