About
Devyn is a family and cardiovascular nurse practitioner who joined the nursing department as program advisor in 2021 and as an instructor in Spring 2022. In her nursing career, Devyn has worked with rural, military, migrant farm working and suburban communities providing as a registered nurse and advanced nurse practitioner, specializing in cardiology. Ms. Nixon teaches Social Justice and Healthcare, U.S. Health Policy and Leadership. Devyn is set to complete a Doctor of Nursing Practice/Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University Spring 2026.
