About

I graduated from WWU, Woodring College of Education and have been teaching Special Education for over 20 years. The teaching profession is truly “heart work” that comes from a passion of understanding our world, sound practices that improve learning, powerful collaboration with colleagues, and individual creative design.  I’m inspired by students, their families, and my amazing colleagues every day to strive to be a lifelong learner and better teacher each year. I look forward to supporting new teachers in their first steps in their teaching journey.

I am currently a Special Education teacher and serve as a Facilitator in Special Services at Everett Pubic School District. I work with teachers and other building staff that support students with IEPs. Additionally, I work collaboratively in our department to provide professional development to teachers and paraeducators to support their content knowledge and best practices for IEP case management, instruction, and behavior supports.
