About
Sandy earned an Executive Secretarial Certification from South Puget Sound Community College and an Associate’s from Yakima Valley Community College. She has been employed by WWU for 20+ years, and in the Nursing Program since October 2019. Prior to coming to Western, Sandy worked at Skagit Valley and Yakima Community Colleges and Central Washington University. Her experience and contacts on Western’s campus give her the opportunity to support students in the RN-to-BSN Program with issues that arise such as admissions, registration and graduation (and most things in between). Nursing faculty and Sandy work closely together to ensure student success.
