Reading Tutors

Woodring College employs a number of Western students to work as reading tutors in local elementary schools.  These tutors work in a variety of contexts, such as reading aloud to students, helping with their reading, and many other activities that increase a student’s reading skills.  Reading tutors act as role models for the students they work with.  Imagine how great it is to have a local college student come help you read!   Becoming a reading tutor for Woodring is a great way to get involved with the local community, help Bellingham’s schools, and inspire kids to learn!
