About
Elizabeth graduated from WWU in 1987 with a BA in elementary education. Having a passion for helping people with literacy difficulties, she worked at the San Diego State University Reading Clinic after completing her graduate work there. After 30 years of teaching primary school, she is inspired to help the next generation of teachers join the important field of education. Education is for everyone, and continuing to learn as an older person, is wonderful. Elizabeth strives to create an equitable and inclusive experience where all students feel welcomed and supported , especially those who are non-traditional, first generation, BIPOC and /or LGBTQ+.
