Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education Program is available in Bellingham and Bremerton and is for candidates seeking a profession in early childhood education and specialization in working with young children and their families.
Admission Deadline:
Apply by March 1st for Fall Quarter admission.
Elementary Education Program
The Elementary Education Professional Program centers an anti-bias, anti-racist, social justice philosophy and leads to a recommendation to the state of Washington for a teaching certificate with an Elementary Education endorsement.

Spring Admission: January 15
Disability and Advocacy Program
This plan of study is designed to prepare students to work with individuals (e.g., children, youth, and adults) with disabilities outside of traditional school settings.

Spring Quarter: January 15th
Secondary Education
The Secondary Education program is designed for students who want to become teachers at the middle or high school level. The program leads to a recommendation to the State of Washington for a teaching certificate with an endorsement in at least one subject area.

Special Education Early Childhood Program
This plan of study is designed to prepare personnel to work with children from birth through eight years who have been identified as at-risk for developmental delay or disability and with their families.
Admission Deadlines:
Fall Quarter: March 1st
Inclusive Education (Dual Endorsement Elementary & Special Education)
If you want to be an elementary classroom teacher and/or a special education teacher, this program is for you.
At the end of your program, you will be qualified to apply for two endorsements, one in special education and one in elementary education.

Winter Quarter: September 15th
Spring Quarter: January 15th
Special Education Plus Content Endorsement
If you want to be a regular classroom teacher in a secondary setting (e.g., middle school math, high school English, etc.) and/or a special education teacher with unique skills, especially in instructional methods and transitions from school to community, this program is for you.
Application Deadlines:
Fall Quarter: March 1st
Winter Quarter: September 15th
Spring Quarter: January 15th
Special Education, BAE
This program leads to one qualifying endorsement and prepares you to be a special education teacher with expert knowledge of the general classroom operations and responsibilities.
