Kathe Matrone, PhD, CRC, is currently retired. She previously served as the Director of the Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation (CCER) at the University of Washington. Although retired, she provides consultation services to CCER on projects. Dr. Matrone has expertise in program evaluation and clinical case practice. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling Education from Michigan State University. Dr. Matrone has over forty years of experience in VR services in Idaho, Alaska, and Michigan and has been actively involved in the planning and administration of fiscal and human resources. She has participated in many research projects, including a statewide needs assessment of individuals with disabilities in Michigan, Alaska, Idaho, and Washington. She has served as President of the Commission Rehabilitation Counselor Certification Board of Directors.
