Amount: two awards of $1000

Open to anyone enrolled in a Woodring program who demonstrates community-based leadership skills. Recipients are recognized for excellence in academic performance and demonstrated initiative and contributions in the area of community or public service at the local, state, national, or international level.  Required 500-word essay describing contributions and future goals in the area of community or public service and recommendations: submit one from a university representative and one from a community representative. Post-Bac students are eligible.
