Marilyn F. Nold Memorial Housing Scholarship *
This off-campus housing scholarship honors the memory of educator Marilyn F. Nold. The selected recipient will receive three quarters of rent free housing in a one bedroom unit in the New England Apartments (2516-2536 Douglas Ave.) beginning in September of the upcoming academic year. The scholarship is generously offered in cooperation with Madrona Bay Real Estate Investments. Recipients must sign and comply with a private lease agreement.
This scholarship is open to undergraduates in teacher education, who are beginning their internship year of college at Western Washington University. Applicants must be admitted to the Woodring College of Education. Demonstrated financial need is a factor in considering the recipient of this award. (Please submit a statement of financial need). Post-Bacs and graduate students are NOT eligible.
