Elementary Education Endorsement Program for Certified Teachers
Endorsement Programs for Certified Teachers
This 58 to 63 credit Western Washington University program leads to an endorsement in Elementary Education based on Washington State Elementary Education Endorsement Competencies. It is open to teachers who hold a valid and endorsable Washington State teacher's certificate, and is delivered at locations in Bellingham, Bremerton and Everett. The program provides coherent preparation in all areas of the Elementary Education curriculum. Successful completion of the entire program and a passing score on the NES sub-tests 1 & 2 for Elementary Education result in Western’s recommendation for Elementary Education Endorsement.

Retention in the program requires continuous demonstration of competence in standard oral and written English in all course work.
