The Volunteer Commitment is only a 2 hours each week at your site placement. As a volunteer, you are able to return to your site placement to continue to mentor with the same teacher and students.
Once a student has completed the 201 or 203 course, they may also volunteer to continue mentoring in the schools. The student must register with the program as a volunteer, pass a background check, and follow program guidelines and procedures to be included. Volunteer involvement is offered every quarter except summer.
