This Masters of Education is designed as a part-time program for working adults who desire to teach, consult, or administer education programs, materials and policies targeted to diverse adult populations.
A program for employees in Snohomish and Skagit counties leading to initial teacher licensure with endorsements in K-8 Elementary Education and P-12 English Language Learners (ELL) or P-12 Bilingual Education (BE).

Compass 2 Campus is the mentoring program at WWU. It is designed to increase opportunities toward higher education by providing mentoring for 5th-12th grade students from traditionally underrepresented and diverse backgrounds in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
Completion of this major results in a BA in Education. Students who complete this major typically seek employment in non-school settings, such as health and human services and non-profit organizations; they do not qualify for a teaching certificate.
