If you are New to Western, set up your Universal Account Password and configure Multifactor Authentication Options so you can access Web4U, Outlook 365 email, Canvas, Library Databases and more.

Canvas Student Tour
This self-paced course contains a series of short videos designed to help students learn how to use Canvas. Videos can be viewed in any order. Total viewing time for all videos is ~35 minutes.

Technology Equipment
Make sure you have the right equipment: you'll need access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection, MS Word and Powerpoint software, a webcam and possibly a headset with integrated microphone. Computer competence is expected. You can self-assess your computer skills by reviewing this AHE Technology Self Assessment.

If you are new to Canvas, here are some helpful articles.
The ATUS Helpdesk is open until 8pm on Monday through Thursday; you can contact them at 360-650-3333 or call ext. 3333 from a campus telephone. Also there is a Helpdesk person located in Academic West Room 310 until 8pm in the evenings.
