Admission Dates - We are still accepting Fall 2020 applications!
Fall Quarter Program Admission Applications: Priority application due date is March 1 for Bellingham, Everett, and Distance-Learning Programs. Late applications will be reviewed on a space available basis, so if you miss the deadline, please check with program staff about turning in an application.
The Everett and Distance-Learning programs admit new students during fall quarter only.
Winter Quarter Program Admission Applications: Priority application due date is August 15 for the Bellingham Program ONLY. Late applications will be reviewed on a space available basis, so if you miss the deadline, please check with program staff about turning in an application.
Spring and Summer quarters there is no program admission.
** Returning Human Services students may be accepted any quarter. Please contact Human Services staff at the location you would like to attend before applying.
Along with applying to the Human Services program, transfer students with a DTA from an accredited community college must also apply to Western Washington University. Plan to apply to Human Services and WWU at the same time. Current WWU students need only submit the Human Services Program Application.

2. Once an applicant has been offered admission to the program he/she must initiate and successfully complete a background check. Successful completion of the background check. Applicants are responsible for this expense (approximately $55.00) and will be able to view their results online. In some rare instances, fingerprinting may be required ($0-$20). Failure to successfully complete the background check process will result in the disruption, delay, and/or denial of the students' ability to continue in the major. In the event questions arise about your background check results, you will be contacted by the program manager or department chair.
Applicants concerned about their personal history and whether or not it will disqualify them from being accepted to the program should review the Prohibited Convictions page and are encouraged to initiate a background check prior to applying to the program.
