Preference for this award shall be candidates returning to school in pursuit of changing careers, and who are graduate students, with first choice being given to candidates in teacher education programs. The Fund may be used to pay any costs related to educational expenses, including, but not limited to, tuition, books, materials/supplies, etc.

For students seeking a teacher education degree or certificate from Woodring College of Education.   Post-bac students are eligible.

Recipients shall be enrolled as graduate students, with at least 12 credits in the Adult and Higher Education Program of Woodring College of Education. Recipients must show outstanding achievement as evidenced by excellence in academic activities, contributions to the seminar process, and dedication to student growth and development.  Recipients must exhibit sensitivity to and understanding of creative humanistic endeavors while concurrently striving to discover and expand new knowledge and methods for effective interpersonal and group interaction.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for students in the RN-to-BSN program who would not be able to attend school without financial assistance.  Please apply through the RN-to-BSN program.

For students in Woodring College of Education with a preference for those who fulfill one or all of the following - are completing a major in Humanities; are seeking an endorsement in Social Studies; and/or are post-baccalaureate students.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for students who are, or will be, serving their second year as a lead mentor for the Compass 2 Campus program.  Preference is to be made to applicants who demonstrate financial need (please submit a short statement of financial need) and exceptional leadership in, and contribution to the Compass 2 Campus program.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide support for future teachers in the Woodring College of Education who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Education. 

Must be enrolled in preparatory studies for elementary-level education; demonstrate high academic achievement; and financial need. May be renewable for up to two additional years for fulltime students, or until a degree is granted, whichever comes first.  Please submit a statement of financial need.
