Student Teaching Around the WorldWelcome to the Office of Field Experiences!

Are you student teaching Winter or Spring 2015? If yes, your application is due by May 15, 2014 in Miller Hall 150! Please come to one of our application meetings for information about your placement options, basic requirements, and how to apply! The meetings are scheduled for:

  • Friday, April 11, 3 to 5 pm, MH 235
  • Friday, April 18, 3 to 5 pm, MH 235
  • Saturday, April 19, 9 to 11, MH 235

If interested in student teaching overseas, we will provide specific information at 11 am on April 19 or you can make an appointment with Jennifer McCleery to discuss this option.

Personnel in the Office of Field Experiences coordinate school-based student teaching internships for all teacher education candidates in the Woodring College of Education.

Field experience requirements, length, and placement options vary by program. There are many specific policies and program guidelines that must be followed for student teaching. To find information about student teaching, use the link on the left and then follow to your specific program. Feel free to contact OFE personnel if you have any questions. It is our goal to provide you with excellent support throughout all aspects of your field experiences.
